You are not alone

Image
John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. The most remarkable thing to do while living this life is to trust God despite all the circumstances in life. Sometimes our faith goes through a few challenges, yet this should not hinder our relationship with God. We should learn to trust God more because this is the best choice that we should decide with no regrets.

If you were asked by your HR to be a General Manager, what traits or personality do you have that others don't? This is a question that is often asked during job interviews, and it is a question that you should be prepared to answer if you are ever in this situation. Being a General Manager is a challenging and demanding role, and it requires a certain set of skills and personality traits to be successful. In this blog post, we will discuss some of the traits and personality traits that you should possess to be an effective General Manager. First and foremost, you must have excellent leadership skills. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees, and you must be able to inspire and motivate them to achieve their goals. How does media ownership affect press freedom and Philippine democracy?

Media ownership has outgrowth an evil desire for the own benefits of numerous oligarchs in our country. Looking back to the time of Pre-Martial law until today’s oligarchs, most of the business tycoons own a massive percent of the country’s mass media. These had people developed a wide vested interest for their own financial gain specifically to their own businesses - resulting for having a negative impact on the press freedom and to the Philippine democracy. Journalists were not given a chance to disseminate  what is true and what is right. They were controlled by the oligarchs to spread the news for their own gain and benefits. Media ownership has empowered the oligarchs and tycoons while the Philippine democracy is slowly fading without the awareness of many people in this country due to their cozy relationship with the media. As a communication student, it deeply affects me and bothers me about these sad realities here in our country. There must be press freedom but ironic

How do Filipina attains education and occupation before vs. today?

I think being a Filipina before requires you to follow all the rules given by your family or what the society points you to be. Actually, as we read the novels of Dr. Jose Rizal, we could find out that being a woman before was really hard. A good education was not given by women, they were just required to stay in their own houses, and do household chores. When it comes to work, their abilities and capabilities were being set aside because of the term "just a woman". Babae ka lang kaya mahina ka... that's why all they could do before was to do the household chores. Gender equality to the Filipino women before was really unfair. But nowadays, Filipino women are free. They could lead people. In school, they could be a great leader and soar high. Filipino women nowadays could prove their skills and abilities when it comes to work. It's really amazing because Filipino women are now with the same level as Filipino Men. For example, an ofw woman works as a welder, it only

Some things just happen

SOME THINGS JUST HAPPEN I wonder why I am writing this, but I want to say that some things just happen. And we don't know what to do about it. Perhaps those things will soon pass, but the very thing that will remain are the memories whether it is good or bad.  As we walk around or wander, we meet some strangers, but the most unexplainable part of it is that those strangers are the ones who could give colors to our lives. Then the thrilling part of our journey, those people (strangers) that we met are surprisingly connected to our loved ones or the people we know.  So what is the best thing to do? For me, I want to treasure them and respect them and let them live their life to the fullest. I will not force myself to them because I know, people change. All I know is to give them unforgettable memories to remember.

Something to smile about

Image
And when you appreciate simple things, your sweet smile follows. You should be grateful always, dear friend! Kasi si Lord, he never failed to bless us. 'Wag na puro negative things ang iniisip ha, tingnan mo ang blessings ni Lord! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Things to do with old friends

Image
So today, I had a wonderful time with my old friends. We talked about a lot of things like adulting and college life. I realized that time flies so fast. We are now in our 20's, and we all know that this season has many trials. Right now, we're still chasing our dreams. I only pray to God for our successful future. I hope our future selves will be proud of what we are doing right now because we are trying our very best at this present time. I hope, and I pray for our future partners. I don't know why I should consider this in my prayers, but I think this is one of the best ways to show my love and care to my friends. I want them to be happy in their future family.

What to do when you're worried

Image
In Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells his disciples not to worry about tomorrow, as each day has enough troubles of its own. This verse speaks to the anxiety and stress that can come from anticipating future events or worrying about things beyond our control. It's a message that can resonate with many people today, who often find themselves overwhelmed by the uncertainties of life. As Christians, we can take comfort in the fact that God is constant and unchanging, even in the midst of a world that is constantly changing. When we face troubles and anxieties, we can turn to God for strength and guidance. He is always there to listen to our prayers and offer us comfort and peace. One of the most powerful things about this verse is its reminder to focus on the present moment. It's easy to get caught up in worrying about what might happen tomorrow, next week, or next year, but when we do this, we miss out on the beauty and blessings of the present moment. Instead of letting our worries consu

What to do when you are frustrated?

Isaiah 26:3 is a powerful verse that reminds us of God's promise to keep us in perfect peace if we trust in Him with all our hearts. In today's fast-paced world, finding peace of mind and tranquility can be a daunting task. We often feel overwhelmed by the pressures of life, and our minds are cluttered with worries and anxieties. However, Isaiah 26:3 offers a glimmer of hope and reassurance that God can provide us with the peace we need to navigate life's challenges. The verse emphasizes the importance of having a steadfast mind and unwavering trust in God. When we trust in God, we open ourselves up to a realm of possibilities, and our minds become more focused on positive things. This, in turn, creates an environment of peace, where our hearts and minds are at ease, regardless of what is happening around us. To experience the peace God promises in Isaiah 26:3, we must learn to depend on Him fully. It is easy to become self-reliant and forget that God is always with us, r

Short meditation (John 13:34)

Image
Kapatid, 'wag na tayong magtanim ng sama ng loob! Mas masarap mabuhay kapag minamahal ang bawat isa. In these trying times, we should spread love to encourage others. Loving your enemy is not that easy. But try to imagine the love of our almighty God, his love knows no end,  Kahit na paulit-ulit natin nasasaktan ang Lord, never Niya tayong binitawan. We’re just humans full of imperfections yet we are still loved by a perfect God. If we try to apply God’s love in our lives, then everyone can spread love, the kind of love that comes from God.

Ways to promote Agriculture

Image
Agriculture is a crucial field in the Philippines, and it deserves more recognition and appreciation. As a development communicator student, I feel that it is my accountability to promote Agricultural Sciences and end the stigma that farmers are just poor and uneducated individuals. Their labor of work is not just a piece of cake to pay them back with a bit of money. I am proud to be a student of Pampanga State Agricultural University, which is a leading institution in promoting eco-friendly practices and relevant agricultural knowledge. The University provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become competent agricultural professionals. As a development communicator student, I am committed to using my skills and resources to promote the field of Agricultural Sciences. One way I can do this is by creating a promotional video that showcases the importance of agriculture in our society. Through this video, I can educate Filipinos about the value of agriculture and the
