Resting in His Presence
Just sharing this message from our prayer meeting. ♥️
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Resting in His Presence
1. Come to me (Invitation)
Kapag pala pagod tayo, number 1 na gusto ni Lord na pumunta tayo sa Kanya.
- Minsan nauubos na energy natin sa ibang bagay, pero di natin magawang pumunta sa ating Lord.
- We will come to the Lord because we know who He is.
- Don't forget the phrase "Come to Me" sa tuwing may pinagdadaanan tayo
2. Weary and Heavy laden
Cause: Heavy laden- something is bothering you
(Maaring regret, sin, sama ng loob, basta negative things)
Effect: You will be weary (magiging pagod ka dahil sa mga ganyang bagay)
If may nararamdaman ka na problema, come to Jesus.
Kasi...
3. I will give you rest
- Rest na galing kay Lord.
- Rest na nakaka revive
- Rest sa puso at isip
(Walang nakakabili sa peace of mind at peace sa puso)
Mahirap kapag ganyan, kaya ang gusto ni Lord kapag dumulog ka sa Kanya, He will give you rest.
4. Take my yoke upon you
But sabi bibigyan ng rest pero bat may yoke?
YOKE- Ito yung pamatok (like pinapatong sa kalabaw)
Ano ba yung pinapapasan ni Lord na yoke?
Ito yung believing and abiding, and that is faith.
Faith is positive. Pag dala dala natin ang faith, napaka positibo natin sa buhay.
Simply trust Him sa lahat ng burdens natin sa buhay.
5. Learn from Him
-He carried the yoke of sins with endurance.
- He carried the cross with passion
- HOW ABOUT YOU?
Pinagtitiisan mo ba or nagiging ungrateful ka na kay Lord?
May joy and love pa ba kapag gumagalaw ka?
6. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
- Kapag sana naglilingkod kay Lord, sana di mabigat sa puso.
- Madalas pagod tayo sa maraming bagay...
Do you still have prayer time with Him?
... devotional time with Him?
... worship time with Him?
Sana kahit pagod ka na sa lahat, sana may excitement ka pa rin pagdating kay Lord.
