Just sharing this message from our prayer meeting. ♥️ Matt 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Resting in His Presence 1. Come to me (Invitation) Kapag pala pagod tayo, number 1 na gusto ni Lord na pumunta tayo sa Kanya. - Minsan nauubos na energy natin sa ibang bagay, pero di natin magawang pumunta sa ating Lord. - We will come to the Lord because we know who He is. - Don't forget the phrase "Come to Me" sa tuwing may pinagdadaanan tayo 2. It's easy to love Jesus when life is going well, when the sun is shining, and our future seems clear. But what happens when the storms of life come, and we can't see the path ahead? What happens when we pray and it feels like God isn't listening? It's in those moments that our faith is truly tested. Will we still love Jesus when everything seems uncertain?

The truth is, our love for Jesus shouldn't be based on our circumstances. It should be based on who He is and what He has done for us. Jesus loves us unconditionally, even when we don't deserve it. He gave His life for us on the cross, so that we could have eternal life with Him. When we truly understand the depth of His love for us, our love for Him will grow even stronger, even in the midst of uncertainty.

One of the most well-known stories in the Bible that illustrates this is the story of Job. Job was a man who loved God and had everything going for him - he was wealthy, had a loving family, and was well-respected in his community. But in a short amount of time, he lost everything. His children died, his wealth was gone, and he was struck with a painful illness. Through it all, Job remained faithful to God, even when his friends urged him to curse God and die. Job's response was, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised." (Job 1:21)

Job's story is a powerful testimony to the fact that our love for Jesus can grow stronger even in the midst of trials and suffering. When we feel like our future is unclear, when we don't know what tomorrow will bring, we can still cling to the promises of God. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Even when we don't understand why things are happening the way they are, we can trust that God is working all things together for our good.

Another example is the story of Joseph in the Old Testament. Joseph was a young man with big dreams, but his own brothers sold him into slavery out of jealousy. He was taken to a foreign land, where he was falsely accused and thrown into prison. Despite all of this, Joseph never lost faith in God. He trusted that God had a plan for his life, and that even in the darkest of circumstances, God was with him. In the end, Joseph was promoted to a position of power in Egypt, and his family was reunited.

These stories, and countless others like them, serve as a reminder that our love for Jesus should not be dependent on our circumstances. We can love Him even when we don't understand what's happening in our lives, even when we feel like He's not answering our prayers. When we choose to love Jesus in the midst of uncertainty, we are proclaiming our faith in Him and declaring that we trust Him no matter what.
If you're struggling to love Jesus in the midst of uncertainty, I encourage you to turn to Him in prayer. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a fresh way, to remind you of His love and faithfulness. Read His Word and meditate on His promises. Surround yourself with other believers who can encourage and support you. And above all, remember that God is with you, even when everything else feels uncertain.
In conclusion, our love for Jesus should not be based on our circumstances. When everything seems uncertain, we can still love Him and trust that He is working all things together for our good.
