Resting in His Presence

Image
Just sharing this message from our prayer meeting. ♥️ Matt 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Resting in His Presence 1. Come to me (Invitation) Kapag pala pagod tayo, number 1 na gusto ni Lord na pumunta tayo sa Kanya. - Minsan nauubos na energy natin sa ibang bagay, pero di natin magawang pumunta sa ating Lord. - We will come to the Lord because we know who He is. - Don't forget the phrase "Come to Me" sa tuwing may pinagdadaanan tayo 2. The Power and Struggle of Vulnerability: Why It's Hard to Speak Up and Share Our Pain

Image
It's a difficult thing to open up to others about the pain that we carry. There are moments when we long to spill our hearts out to those who are closest to us, to let them in on the secrets that we keep hidden behind our smiles. But then, we hesitate, knowing that there are pieces of ourselves that we keep locked away, hidden in the depths of our hearts. We guard these pieces fiercely, for they contain the pain, anger, traumas, heartache, sadness, and brokenness that we cannot bear to reveal to anyone else. Why is it like this? Perhaps it's because we've learned to rely on ourselves for survival, to pick ourselves up when we fall and to fight our battles alone. Perhaps we think it's better to overcome our pain in silence, rather than let someone else into our lives' dark and tumultuous areas. We can't guarantee that we'll ever be free from our pain, but we can assure ourselves that if we don't speak up, we won't be misunderstood or judged unfairly....

SOAP METHOD DEVOTION

Image
SOAP METHOD S - Scripture O - Even kings and leaders are instructed to serve the Lord with fear and trembling. This means that God is the highest power in the world, and fearing Him is a sign of acknowledging His power and what He can do in our lives. (Psalms Chapter 2) A - I will remember to serve God because of who He is and what He has done for me. I have many reasons to fear the Lord and acknowledge His power in my life. P - Dear Lord, thank You for reminding me how to serve You with fear and trembling. I confess that sometimes I work for our ministries out of my own willingness and forget to acknowledge You. Please help me to always humble myself before You and fear You more than anything else. Thank You for Your love and mercy. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
